About the work

2024, one heck of a year! It seemed like the world was spinning out of control. As we bid farewell to the frenzy of the past year, I look back and reflect on the moments of light that shone through, and for me, one such moment was the news that not one, but two of my illustrations had been selected the MCOI Annual 2024. These two pieces are very special to me, as I found myself struggling to see consistency in my work, thus also struggling with my own personal art style. These two artworks, created back-to-back, helped me understand and find peace in consistency.
