About the work

2025 found me spiraling down a rabbit hole of fantasy games and RPG’s. I found myself yearning for a life within these games, a world where rather than taxes and the threat of AI taking over your career, you could focus on achieving whatever you wanted. (The dragons don’t sound too bad honestly). These countless hours had a massive impact on the art I wanted to create and I found myself breathing new life into my characters, focusing on details I would always overlook previously as ”extras”. Clothes, accessories and weaponry was a major focus, looking into period outfits, suits of armor and rediscovered relics. One of my favorite illustrations from this period was ‘The Hollowgrin’.

In addition to this artwork, my poster for the ‘Stones to Peppers III : The Final Chapter’ event was also picked to be featured in the MCOI Annual.
