The Process

The brief was simple. To create a modernized classic rock poster. No time was wasted before I started looking through my various poster design and rock art books for real classic inspiration. Immediately, visuals from The Rolling Stones, The Grateful Dead, and Hendrix, all started fueling my creativity. I got straight to work sketching out my initial ideas on paper, and eventually developed into the final artwork seen below.

Along with the printable poster, I was also tasked with creating some social media content, including image frames, profile pictures, and event banners for all the different websites featuring the event. Additionally, Press passes were required for event night.
